Outdoor Kids Specialty Retailer, Upside Over, Provides Events and Demos at Adventures New York City in Central Park on Saturday the 12th
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 15, 2007 -- Upside Over, (Upsideover.com), a leading outdoor kid's specialty retailer announced today that it will be providing kids events and raffles for parents at the Adventures NYC on Saturday June 12th, 2007 between 12:00 and 4:00pm in Central Park.
The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, along with Backpacker Magazine, have teamed together for the second year in a row to turn the "Big Apple" into the country's biggest urban outdoor adventure playground. Adventures NYC is a five borough celebration of the outdoors and related activities. The event is designed to encourage New Yorkers to take advantage of the parks and natural resources just outside their homes. Adventures NYC offers both outdoor enthusiasts and novice participants the opportunity to experience a variety of outdoor activities, while showcasing the latest innovations in outdoor equipment.

On Saturday June 12th, 2007, between 12:00 and 4:00pm, in Central Park, Upside Over will be demoing Bob Strollers and Sherpani Child Carriers, providing a water/hydration clinic for kids and raffling off a $300 Upside Over shopping spree. Upside Over will be located in Merrell's Kid's Zone! section of the event.
Enter Central Park at East or West 72nd Street for the Bandshell, Dead Road and Bethesda Fountain. Central Park's Naumburg Bandshell will serve as the events "basecamp,", mid-park between 66th and 72nd Streets , with an outdoor gear exposition and a selection of interactive activities for adults and children.
